Every now and then i have the point craze! Shoppers optimum, airmiles, areoplan, visa travel! Right now I'am on the shoppers optimum craze! This is good for a makeup artist who use smashbox in their kit or any one that use Smashbox! Shopper is have 20x the event if you spend over $75 in there beauty department (Good until tomorrow) and Smashbox is giving extra 20 000 points (i think this is good until end of month) if you spend $150 with them.
So here is the math part:
If i spend $150 buying on Smashbox items i get 1500x20= 30 000 + 20 000= 50 000 (this means you get $85 to spend on you next buy! If you spend that free $85 back on smashbox that is like having a .... $150+$85= $235. $85/$235= 0.3617 x 100= 36.17% off you Smashbox products!
And you are as crazy as me and an accountant (always trying to max out the deal) this is what i would do:
2 $150 bills in smashbox so that mean 100 000 points already, wait until they have the SUPER claim you points event where 95 000points would get tou $200 instead of the $170 buy more smashbox with it!
So buy spending $300 i get $200 back ...... 40% off all my smashbox products!! Which is better then my pro discount with them!
Another crazy thought if they still have the $150 get 20 000 extra points when i claim my 95 000 points........ i think.....100 000-95000 =5000+20 000= 25 000 points which means.... another $30 from shopper durg mart with out spending any more money!
